LISTENING TO BOOK 1
We all love listening to our favorite radio station as we drive to school and singing along to our favorite songs knowing every word by memory and that it totally normal! CAn you imagine how fast you would progress if we did this with our Suzuki violin book 1 recordings daily on the way to school? When I was four we had a record player and a record of Suzuki violin book 1 to listen to, there were no cd players or iphones, I know cave man days! The options to listen to the recordings today are endless, cds, iphones, itunes and Youtube.
HOW TO LISTEN
It is best for parents to download the recordings from Itunes on the childs device or family device so that they are available at all times where ever you may be. At the beginning stage we can listen passively. This means we can be doing other things while listening, for example eating breakfast, brushing teeth, playing games. As long as the recording are in the background the listening is happening
PLAYING BY EAR
Just like we can sing our favorite pop tunes from constant listening to the radio we begin to play the violin by ear from listening to recordings! You can do this by putting the recordings on daily!
